I received the sweetest email from teacher, Judith Hanson Lasater, letting me know that she was featuring a photo of us in her Autumn Newsletter. It made me smile and feel blessed to have such a wonderful mentor. I continue my advanced yoga studies with Judith and always look forward to our time together. She changed the way of think about yoga and I am grateful every day to have the chance to go deeper and explore this healing practice more fully. I also love seeing Judith as the woman makes me laugh like mad. Learning and laughing go so blissfully hand in hand...
Here's the newsletter!

A little yoga, anyone?
I'm getting ready to leave for Guatemala tomorrow. I'll be gone for 17 blissful days and will be scoping out a few more places to include in our retreat. I'll also be studying Spanish this trip, my fourth there in one year, and hope to come away with the ability to speak a little Spanish and there. Here's hoping!
I spent six hours in two Anusara Yoga workshops with my teacher, Noah Maze and another wonderful teacher, Naime Jezzeny yesterday. My friend and fellow yoga retreat partner Linda Eifer did the workshops with me. I thought I'd post a couple of pictures of Linda as you already know who I am. And may I just say she's utterly fabulous...
Yes, she really can stick her leg behind her head!
This is Noah in action. He truly is a teacher's teacher. I just adore him...
Now me, I'm the Restorative Yoga chick. You'll find me happily doing things like this.
And let's not forget this.
Having a strong asana practice is a beautiful thing and insuring that you have the Restorative practice is just as important. Get your yoga groove on and then get your restorative bliss on.
It's all about balance...

WHAT IS SHRI?
Ah, Shri... I just can't imagine my life without it. Why, you ask? And what exactly is Shri?
Shri, my friends, is all that is life affirming. Shri is that indomitable life force. Shri is that little bitty blade of grass that screams, "hear I come!", and busts up through the sidewalk so that all the world can see it! Yeah, it's like that. I'm all about the Shri...
My partners and I needed a name for our Yoga Retreat venture. We needed a name that expressed who we three are and what we're made of. We needed something that screamed, "here we come!" We needed the Shri.
So, on that note it's official:
SHRI x THREE YOGA is in business. That's three times the yoga and three times the bliss. It's all about yoga, wine, and aligning with the divine. Three yogis who embrace life and savor it like mad. Oh yes...
More on the Guatemala yoga retreat to come. So much more to come...
